Students are able to contact their tutor outside of lessons, via monitored chats, to ask questions or seek clarity on any material being learnt in school or independently.

Meet Liv
Liv began her tutoring career at just sixteen, while studying for her own A-Levels. Her distinctive teaching style, combined with a personable approach and strong professionalism, quickly set her apart. By the time she reached The University of Bristol, the demand for her sessions soon exceeded capacity, leading to a long waiting list. Recognising the potential to make a broader impact, Liv began training her peers to deliver tuition using the same effective methods and nurturing approach.
Following her graduation with a First-Class Degree in Psychology, Liv & Learn was officially founded. What began as a personal tutoring venture had already grown into a trusted educational network supporting nearly 100 families - all through referrals and recommendations.
Today, Liv & Learn continues to thrive under Liv’s leadership. The team is made up of young, motivated and academically outstanding tutors who embody Liv’s ethos: to combine academic excellence with empathy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their best.
Meet Michael
Michael joined the Liv & Learn team in 2023 while in his second year of an English degree at University College London. His natural aptitude for teaching, coupled with his engaging and supportive style, quickly made him a sought-after tutor. After completing his undergraduate studies, Michael pursued a Law Conversion, continuing to tutor with Liv & Learn alongside his studies.
Specialising in English at KS2, KS3, and A Level, Michael combines academic rigour with creativity, ensuring his lessons are not only effective but inspiring. His sessions are designed to strengthen students’ understanding while igniting a genuine love for literature and language.
As his reputation for excellence grew, so did his student base. In recognition of his talent, commitment, and leadership within the team, Michael was appointed Assistant Director in the summer of 2025 — a role he embraced with enthusiasm and professionalism. Today, Michael continues to balance passion for education with his management responsibilites, helping shape the agency and in turn next generation of learners with Liv & Learn.
